I am considering breeding my male yorkie with my cousins female. I am curious as to how this will effect my male yorkie, afterwards. I have heard that it can cause them to have complete personality changes, ect. Is this true? What can happen?Are there any side effects of breeding male yorkies? The other things you need to be concerned with is making sure both your dog and your cousin's dog is tested fro hips and patellas by OFA, CERF'd ,and are in close conformation iwth the breed standard.

An intact male has the risk of getting testicular cancer. It's better and healthier to have him neutered.
