How do I improve my mood stability?

I I am 29 years old and seem to change moods often. It is not bipolar, but something else, I believe. I don't do the manic and depressive thing. I have a hard time staying really happy all the time. I exercise every day and try to eat right. Any pointers? I get depressed in the winter time and around my period, definitely, but what about the slight moood swings throughout the other times?How do I improve my mood stability?

chamomile tea has been known to level out moods...try a cup or two a day...may help....
Excercise helps... ask any sportsperson.
