Mood changes with weather?

when its bright and sunny outside im usually in a very bright optimistic mood but when its rainy/cloudy then im usually in a worrisome mood....is there anything i can do to change this? how so?Mood changes with weather?
You might want to investigate a therapy light such as is used to treat ';Seasonal Affective Disorder';. It has shown some good results. I suffer from that myself, though not to a debilitating level. I go for long walks when the sun is bright and the effect seems to last for a while. Vitamins may help as well -- I suspect that the vitamin D in the sunlight may have some effect in this. Good luck!Mood changes with weather?
move to New Mexico
i don't think u can do anything to change that cuz that's what u feel

i feel that too, except when it's sunny, in my mind, it's like today is going to be a good day and whenit's grey outside, i just feel that something bad is going to happen or something

i don't really mind it, i feel that it's just telling me something
Its a proven fact that weather will affect mood. there are lights you can buy, that simulate sunlight, i think i a lot people in seattle have these lights. Also what might help is if you start to associate positive things about the rain or clouds, that way when it rains its remind you of a happy and good time and then you can start to look forward to rain. but yeah rain is a bummer, you get all wet and cold and its not a good feeling.
You can't change the environment, you have to change yourself. How do you know if it is not sunny or bright outside?? You know it because you look out from your windows.

What if you are in a 4 brick wall room without windows. Is that sunny or cloudy? how would you feel, what would you mood be?

You see, many times we subconsciously find excuses for ourselves to be bored, to be moody. Weather is one of them. If we can overcome this by not letting it defeat our mind, then we are in good mood all the time. I know someone likes rainy day rather. Why? I was told that it generates soft sound.

It is all mind over matter, and depends on how you look at things!!!
sunshine carries vitamin D as we know but the light that is reflected in the eyes during a sunnny day affects our brain chemestry by raising seritonin levels so find some foods that are know for raising seritonin ( A chemical in the brain) and you can eat those on dreary days or when you know cloudy days are comming is and of course throught the winter you may check with your Dr about any other moody issues if you notice the moods swings are frequent.
Let it rain for too many days in a row and see if I don't get stupid and my mood go down the toilet.

Absolutely. Next question: Do people who live in mainly sunny locations have less incidents of depression than do people who live in dreary weather?
The amount of light a person is exposed to can alter their mood. Try sitting near a bright light when it's gloomy outside. There are real bright lights for sale for people with a condition called ';seasonal affective disorder';. Light affects the amount of seratonin made in the brain which determines mood.
